The Throat Chakra

The fifth chakra, called the Throat chakra, is located in the middle of your throat, spinning along the spine in the form of a bright blue orb.

Related to sound, vibration, listening, communication, self-expression, and frustration, this chakra is correlated with the throat, speech organs, lungs, and thyroid. Called Vishuddha, meaning “especially pure,” the fifth chakra embodies the element of Sound, epitomizing the essence of musical harmony.

When unbalanced, this energy center will create difficulties in communication and produce frustration.

Physically, an over or underactive throat chakra will create thyroid problems, sore throats, hearing problems, bronchitis, asthma, and more.

When clean and in tune, all the energy that passes through its vortex manifests as effortless communication, artistic expression, relief, and relaxation.
